SKILL HUB Launch under The Skill Hub Initiative (PMKVY) at Birla Open Minds International School, Kollur, Telangana

We are happy to announce Birla Open Minds International School, Kollur, Hyderabad, Telangana, has successfully launched its Skill Hub on 21 st April, 2022 under The Skill Hub Initiative (SHI) under PMKVY. This initiative is facilitated by CBSE and implemented by Birla Open Minds and aims at creating shared infrastructure, aligning with the needs of the local economy and addressing the needs of all target segments for vocational training. The launch of the Skill Hub is our first step towards Integrating Skills and Education for a New India.

Birla Opens Minds Schools implementing CBSE Skill Hub Initiative under PMKVY

We are happy to announce that Birla Open Minds Schools are a part of CBSE Skill Hub Initiative under PMKVY - Integrating Skills and Education for a New India. This initiative aims at creating shared infrastructure, aligning with the needs of the local economy and addressing the needs of all target segments for vocational training. BIRLA OPEN MINDS with its 10 Birla Open Minds International School will implement the Skill Hub Initiative for through Setting up Lab (Virtual and Physical) for skill training, Mobilization, Trainer Recruitments, E-content and Learning resources through NSQF aligned Courses, Assessment/ Evaluation, Skill Lab Audit, Quality Assurance and Guidance, Performance Report and Positive Reinforcement, Life skills, soft skills and Personality Development and Placements. This initiative is being taken forward with Adult learners, School Dropouts (Class 6th –12th) , Youth , Out-of-school candidates and Children in the vicinity of school.

Sterlite Copper inaugurated a skill development center in collaboration with Vedanta Foundation and Birla Open Minds Education Pvt Ltd at Tuticorin, Tamilnadu

The inauguration was covered by various newspapers such as Equity Bulls & Auto Components India. The center in Thoothukudi will offer courses focusing on 5 trades, namely, Sewing machine operator, Welding, Electrician, Logistics - Inventory clerk, and Food Processing, which have been identified as priority areas via the Skill Gap Assessment Report of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).

Vedanta Rojgar Yojna

BEL is a certified NSDC training partner. BEL/Birla Open Minds conducts skill training and provides placements for all the participants in Varanasi and Rajasthan for 13 skill training centres in collaboration with Vedanta Foundation.

ECCEd / DECE, PG Girls Vedanta College Reengus Rajasthan

Birla OpenMinds conducted Early childhood training programme for 525 students. Students completed DECE, IGNOU certification programme successfully.

Uttarakhand Schools Spoken English Classes

BEL/Birla OpenMinds is closely working with the Uttarakhand government for uplifting the 30 plus government schools across Uttarakhand by providing Spoken English and Yoga classes for children across age group of 3 to 12 years and Balwari teachers. Use of audio visual aids and activity based teaching is the methodology used in these schools by our facilitators.

Spoken English Programme VCMIT College, Vithalwadi, Mumbai

Birla OpenMinds conducted Birla Communicative English programme for 1500 students at Vedanta College in Mumbai. Students completed certification courses successfully.

ECCEd / DECE Programme Nand Ghar Rajasthan

Birla Open Minds conducted Early childhood training for more than 2700 learners and provided certifications too across the country.
